Raised catch per species (OPEN ARTFISH, p. 7)

Splits each fishing unit's raised catch by the species mix of the trips its catch per trip came from: its own, or all trips of the district and month where it borrowed (catch_source).

Usage

estimate_species_fao(fao, trips, landings)

fao

Output of estimate_catch_fao().

trips

The trips of fao_units().

landings

Validated API landings, one row per catch item.

Value

One row per district, fishing unit, month and catch_taxon with its raised total_catch_kg, for the units that were raised.

Details

A trip's species rows can be a sample of its catch (Kenya's KEFS), so they set the trip's mix, which is applied to the trip's total catch. Catch with no weighed species row keeps catch_taxon NA, so species add up to the total.
